Blake Pruitt, a high school student from Baltimore, MD, has loved making films since he was young. His serious interest began in the summer of 2004, when he was 11, during a summer film course. Ever since then, he has been learning about the filmmaking process while making many small films. His first documentary, Canines, has been accepted into film festivals around the world. This past summer, he attended New York Film Academy and held an internship with Atlantic Pictures in New York.  He hopes to be a professional director.
