The wry, charismatic career criminal, Johnny Castalanno, decides to go legit by rolling with a crew of self-titled “elevator chasers” and sue the city for millions by headlining the most flawless elevator scheme in lawsuit history.

Johnny joins the eclectic 5-person crew of specialists, including a thirteen-year-old girl with an encyclopedic knowledge of unreported elevator mishaps, an aspiring stage actor named Moses with an ego to match his mammoth-sized glasses who is adept at documenting home video of the choreographed elevator accidents, and Allison Kudos, a ruthless, litigious shark who just happens to be Johnny’s ex-fiancé.

Johnny, a hard-bitten wise guy going through an identity crisis, has always been pretty top-heavy with the mob’s most notorious joyboys and like every member of the elevator crew; he’s just itching for a big challenge worthy of his talents that doesn’t involve a firearm. But eschewing the gangster’s lifestyle may prove to be the most dangerous miscue of all.

The Elevator Chasers have bucked impossible odds while oozing confident power, reaping the mediocre but generous rewards for their life-threatening efforts.
